The foundation was built on Prophets/ Pastors (Priest) and came about through the expasion of Gods kingdom
1. Prophets of the old Church: Prophets/ Priest Sent to give direction to the church
2. The New church: Founded on the Apostles/ The Apostolic came about from the planting of Gods kingdom.
3. The Fathers of Faith were ALL Prophets not Apostles!
2. Two types of Prophets:
a. To the church: Are there to instruct the Apostles concerning 5 fold ministry
b. In the church: work under apostolic leadership
c. Appointed Apostles/Pastor: By God & The church
a. One of the most sacred: Prophets office…you can fake all( apostolic) others because you deal directly with God and epress/prove the mind of God!
b. Is not his own spirit, but Gods spirit that has to be proved and weighed!
B. Is the only office that is a continuation …it is not a new thing! Prophets have continued the work before them! Not one prophet finished his workvand
-No modern day prophets: No such thing! The spirit of the prophets is subject to the prophet
-Does not come with his own spirit!
-Prophets always occupy what has been
-Always imparts gifts, knowledge: Priest does not (Numbers)
Ministry of Moses: God himself put the spirit of Moses in the people of Isreal, HS and began to prophesy/ 2 other people receive as well. HS was not on the scene.
Apostles/ Prophets: appointed by God himself
-Saul sent to the the company of prophets: The only way a person can be changed and become a different person is the impartation(sent to a company of Prophets)
-David became a prophet because of who anointed him!
-The Spirit of a Prophet: Is a King maker!
-Believe God and you will established,believe His prophet and you will prosper; not just financially exclusively (all areas)
Dreaming dreams does not make you a prophet, but a dreamer of dreams
Something had to come upon all the prophets of the old
The voice: this function should be within every believer ought to function /the unction within to get direction…This is a consistant nuging is a general way to preceive God, every believer should be able to detect or scense
The spirit of prophacy: is the testamony of Jesus (Revelation 22:6 niv “The angel said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God who inspires the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place.”” (read esv)The correct intepretation
No one else is qualified to give direction, but the prophets
a. To deliver a nation: used the prophets, this is why the devil hate prophets, if the prophets is their the church will see tomorrow!
b. God is invested in his people having direction!

Note: very important to stay in your lane! Dont call yourself what you cant manifest…Desire to function! it will be a mistake, you MUST Insight & Foresight Error: You cant ask a prophet anything, the prophet tells you
-Prophets have been given the Spirit of prophacy so that he/she can inquire the mind of God at anytime!
A prophetic person: God can decide not to speak to him at anytime, but a Prophet, he must talk to them because of the gift He has given him.
Urim & Thurimim: Exodus 28:30 “Also put the Urim and the Thummim in the breastpiece, so they may be over Aaron’s heart whenever he enters the presence of the Lord. Thus Aaron will always bear the means of making decisions for the Israelites over his heart before the Lord.”(casting lots) (Saul tried but didnt work)-enemy tries to copycat!
Mysteries within the prophetic:
The spirit of gathers of information: no substance of what they say ( just because they can give names and numbers)
They wet behind the ears: over excited about their new gifting/ the lesser things/ juvenile.
Substance must Always be in the prophetic
Mission of the mature prophet: to open up the mysteries so that by the time you hit the future, there is no denying what has come out of the mouth of God!

3. How God deals with people when He comes on the scene:
Exodus 3:7 “The Lord said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering.”
a. You cannot be delivered unless they know the affective affliction you are being delivered from.
b. Deliverance to be effective: You must be delivered from the past in order to be efffective for the future: You can never be delivered without knowing what you are coming out of:
-Affective: describes something that has been influenced by emotions.
-Effective: Descibes something that produces a desired result.
-What is binding you, what is holding you? Your troubles from the past!
-Jesus did not deliver us from the future, but the past! The devil trys to keep you bound to the past!
That is why the Prophet MUST have insight and forsight!
Insight: is about analysing current trends in order to find a deeper meaning, Foresight: Uses scenarios and critical thinking to consider what is coming next.
Confession: Must denouse , renounse, confess/sins of ancestors, things you use to do etc
-Without history you dont know what your fighting. The hinderance for the future is when the past is not addressed.
They cannot represnt you before God ( Example Moses- God saw his grief)

-Preaching is a skill- you can hide behind behind a skill, but when it is challenged!
-Rudeness is not boldness, not humility
-If you are sinning you are not qualified to point them out, only to correction in love
Paul writes to the the church: Foolish Galasians
Point: If Prophet is criticizing the prophetic and never prophesy, it is not coming out of a good place…envy & jealousy!
If they dont understand it , they will deamonize it!
Humility: Lower yourself from your prophetic elders...Its an honor system!
Mysteries come at a cost, and it cost !
Nugget: If you have addressed the past, you have freedom to declared and lock the future because there are no hinderances! Based on your ranking though.
Always pray for insight!
